For this shoot I contacted Demay again as I wanted to explore creating a different look with her unique facial features. I was able to create this look with the same backdrop set up as last time but creating a darker feel so the background appeared darker and moodier. I also made a hair station as well so I could experiment with hair gel for the look. the inspiration behind this look was down to catwalk London Fashion Week. working with Demay , I was able to keep a strong networking relationship with her meaning I can rely on her for future shoots.

Evaluation: working with Demay was very rewarding because I was able to work with a model who was open minded to contemporary editorial concepts. For this look I wanted to work with Demay’s unique features by doing a wet look inspired by London Fashion week SS17 Han Wen’s and EDDA’s presentation look I was able to create an edgy vibe to the shoot. Working with hair products such as hair gel hairspray and gloss spray, I was able to set the models hair in place ready for the photoshoot. This shoot was very exciting as it portrays my strengths for catwalk and creative Illamasqua shoots that have inspired me to create such edgy looks. Showing my hair skills for portfolio will also allow future employees to accept me onto their shoots.
I feel I took more of a creative freedom when re visiting Demay as I wanted to explore a greater improvement than my first attempt. I feel everything looks cohesive especially since I managed to create a soft edge around her hairline that blends nicely into the duck grey backdrop creating a soft drowsy effect. There is definitely an element of fashion in this shoot which I’m very pleased to see as its versatile enough for Film and Catwalk. I’m pleased with the outcome of this shoot however I feel I should have experimented more with some creative lines in the poses and shadow manipulation.
